Pampering Yoga
Our Pampering Yoga class is held monthly. Surround yourself in a room filled with rose petals while you experience a super gentle class with 30 minutes of guided meditation. Your feet don't get left out with a massaged with warm scented towels. Chocolate treats given at the end of class.
Power Hour
In this class the music is energetic, pace is fast and the sweat is on. Most of the poses are standing. The flow of Ashtanga with the alignment of Iyengar Yoga. All designed to build strength, flexibility, balance and body tone. You'll have a great workout with some intense posture sequences, as always with our classes, taught compassionately.
Pre-Natal
This class is designed to meet the changing needs of your body during pregnancy. It will guide you to help strengthen and prepare your body for the birth process, helping to ensure an easier labor and postpartum recovery. Learn techniques such as Ujjayi breathing primes you for labor and childbirth. Relaxing your body, mind and connecting to your changing body and baby. Fee $100 for 6 week series or $18 each drop in class. We still gladly hold a pre-natal class is we have 5 or more signed up.
Private Yoga
This can be a 1 hour or 1 ½ hour class, depending on your wishes and schedule. You will receive personalized attention and instruction. Postures are find-tuned and refined in this one-on-one class. Designed to help you move into a new, deeper level of Yogic awareness.
Reiki Share
This monthly class is open for practicing and learning how Reiki energy works. No experience needed. Reiki is a healing energy, learn how to heal yourself and others. Fee $20. Held the second Monday of each month. Click here to learn more about our Reiki classes>
Restorative
Is a gentle, meditative practice using lots of yoga props, to fully support the body so that students can deeply relax, revitalize and restore. The complete relaxation response allows for the release of deeply held tensions while strengthening the immune system. It encourages a state of being rather than doing, therefore beneficial for all yoga students needing a more gentle yoga experience, students healing from injury, those looking to balance an active practice and lifestyle. Fantastic for anyone wishing to experience a sense of well being and rejuvenation resulting from deep rest and relaxation. You will leave feeling refreshed and ready for a good night's sleep. No yoga experience required.
Slow Flow
This class slows down the pace of a regular vinyasa-style yoga class. Sun Salutations are performed slowly, with conscious awareness to detail. In this mindful yoga practice, you will release tightness and gain strength in a nurturing environment.
Senior Yoga
This is the class for the over 60 crowd. It takes a slow, no hurried approach to the yoga postures.
Vinyasa Flow
This class is both dynamic and meditative. It is composed of a series of poses strung together to create heat and energy flow. The poses are linked together gracefully into semi-power sequences, resulting in a dance-like flow.
Warrior
This class is challenging and intense. It is taught Vinyasa-style, with a series of standing postures. It builds endurance, strength & balance. Designed for students in good physical condition with a basic yoga understanding. Sun/Warrior salutations and variations are linked together. Plan to sweat!
