 Acupuncture uses hair-thin needles inserted into the skin at specific points to stimulate the body’s Qi (“chee”). Qi is the body’s life energy. It flows throughout the body in a series of channels. Each channel is connected with a specific organ and has specific functions. When the Qi is flowing freely through the channels all body functions, such as sleep, digestion, energy, concentration, and mobility are enhanced. When the Qi flow is disrupted the body can experience disharmony and/or pain. Acupuncture is a holistic modality, treating the mind, body, and spirit. |

| Reiki |
 Reiki is a precise method for connecting universal energy with the body's innate powers of healing. It is a hands on healing art for the physical, mental and emotional body. The biological intelligence that marshals the bodies resources to heal a cut finger, mend a broken bone, help the lungs to breathe, or ease transition to death is amplified by Reiki. Reiki restores balance to the energy field and assists the receiver in his or her own biological healing resources. The best way to know that Reiki works, however, is to experience it. The essential vehicle is touch applied wherever, whenever appropriate. During a Reiki treatment some people feel deep relaxation others feel subtle sensations. Results are not always evident during a Reiki session; for some people healing shifts occur time, while for others the changes are immediate and lasting. When you heal yourself and assist others with their self healing you heal the earth. |
Reiki level 1, level 2 and level 3 are available upon request and held monthly. Please call with Reiki questions, and for times and weekends chosen for these healing certifications.

First Degree
This basic course includes four energy activations per person and complete training in the scientific method applying this energy to your entire physical-emotional-mental-spiritual dimensions. You will be instructed how to give treatment to family members, friends, pets and plants. You will learn about positive wellness, healing, and balancing energy to treat special disorders with Reiki. |

Second Degree
Is available to those who have taken the first degree, and includes another level of energy-power activation. You are taught a special technique which is effective in treating deep routed emotional and mental disorders. This technique is for precise effective absentee healing and for your own personal growth and transformation. Second degree Reiki teaches you to direct energy on dimensions other than your physical. |

 Since 1995, I have completed approximately 8,000 client hours in therapeutic training and in private practice. I am also in association with Dr. Brawer, a Rhuematologist and Associate Professor of Medicine at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ.
1994 - Received training in Reiki Therapy at the Center of Being taught by Reiki Master Steven Thayer author of "The Angel Aerial" and his associate Reiki Master Julia Lawson, my teacher.1995 - Received First Degree Reiki Training. Received Second Degree Reiki Training.1996 - Received Expert Level Reiki Training1997 - Received Master Level Reiki Training 2007 - Craniosacral Certification at the Upledger Institute, Inc. My therapeutic approach is a combination of Reiki and Craniosacral Therapy.

Indian Head Massage
This treatment is a part of the Ayurvedic Healing System, handed down through the centuries in India. The intent of this massage is not only to ward off stress, but also to stimulate the body to heal itself and to reduce the rate of progression of any prevailing condition. The head, scalp, shoulders, arms, hands, face and ears are massaged, as the client slips into a deep state of relaxation. Created in it's modern incarnation by Narendra Mehta, it is based on the traditional form of Champi (head massage) practiced in India for over 1,000 years. It is relaxing, safe, and includes the application of oils. Please allow 45 minutes for this treatment. |

 I started Blue Moon Herbals in 1993 after studying aromatherapy & herbology since 1975.
